Covid-19 Information For Patients

DDS Patients,

Gov. Cuomo has green lighted our re-opening.  We are so excited to be back in the office and reconnecting with you all. We have certainly missed seeing all of your faces!  When you come back, however, things will look a little bit different.  To keep everyone, including patients, staff and doctors safe, we have positioned ourselves to comply with all ADA, CDC and OSHA guidelines.

To start, if you have tested positive for Covid-19 or exhibits symptoms such as fever, chills, shortness of breath or cough, please reschedule your appointment and get tested.  If not, please plan to enter the office, with your mask on, at the specific time of your appointment to limit number of patients in the waiting room.  We ask that only the patient scheduled come to the appointment and if a guardian is present for a minor that it be kept to one additional person.  Guardians will be asked to not enter the clinic.  We have spaced chairs to comply with social distancing guidelines.  There will also be hand sanitizer available that we ask you to use upon entering.  A screening questionnaire will be reviewed with each patient and temperatures taken at the front desk.  Should a patient fail the questionnaire or present with a fever we will reschedule you and recommend immediate testing. For any paperwork needing to be completed, each patient will be provided with an unused pen to keep. We have installed plexi-glass dividers at the front desk as well as and air purification system throughout the office to contain, reduce and destroy viruses and pathogens.

All staff members will be wearing masks and clinical staff will be wearing approved kn95 masks and face shields.  Gowns will be donned and thorough hand washing, and gloving will be done prior to and after each appointment.  Additional suction devices will be utilized to reduce aerosolized particles as much as possible.  Rooms will be sanitized in between each patient. Furthermore, staff member will be screened daily to ensure the highest degree of safety on our end.

After your appointment is finished, please briefly check in with the front desk for future appointment and billing purposes and exit in an expedient manner.

We are so looking forward to serving you all again and thank you all for your trust in us.
